KINGSTON CAMP INFORMATION:

Long list players will be expected to participate in a weekend training camp at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) on June 28/29, starting Saturday morning. Please meet at the Victoria Hall Residence by 9.30 a.m. on Saturday, where you can drop off your luggage and get ready for a 10 a.m. start. The weekend will finish with several inter-squad games on Sunday afternoon, and the teams dismissed around 3.30 p.m.  All meals, except Saturday lunch, will be provided. More information will be provided at the Parents Meeting.

PROJECTED PROGRAM COSTS:

Rugby Ontario has taken great steps over the past few months to follow through on our goal of reducing rep program costs for our provincial athletes. With a large increase in junior program sponsorship, and additional cost-saving measures added to numerous elements of the program, we have slashed junior boys provincial program dues by approximately 35%.

Rugby Ontario has worked hard to make junior provincial rugby as accessible and inclusive as possible, and in doing so, the projected per-player costs will be reduced from as high as $2,900 last year to $1,600-$1,800 this year.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

For insurance purposes, all players selected to final provincial program rosters MUST be registered with an Ontario rugby club. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

If you have any questions regarding a specific team’s tryout information, please find contact information listed beside each respective team.
